Well, Well, Well. My first review is going to be with Resident evil 4.
So lets get this party started.
Well, the first thing you should know about Resident evil 4 is that it is probably one of the more graphically beatiful games on Gamecube. This game, looks pretty good.
If you take your time with this game, you will probably end up playing it for about 20-30 hours before beating it, maybe more.
Plot and Story line:
I have to say that, while the story isn't all that great alot of things make up for it, but I'll explain that later. So basically, you play as Leon S. Kennedy who goes to Spain to save the presidents daughter who has been kidnapped ( By an unnessiary character I might add) So you go there and you're attacked by parasite infected villagers and blah, blah, blah... Pretty cool, but pretty shallow story in actuality.
Score: 6/10
Graphics:
Wow. For the Gamecube, the graphics are absouletly chilling and stunning, they are nearly as good as a next gen console game, almost. The monsters are all fixed in an amazinly scary way, and the animation is fluid and realistic. Definite epic win on this part.
Score: 10/10
Sound and Music:
As always, the sound of resident evil is chillin' and creepy at the same time, climatic and epic and always surprising. You'll want to lower the volumes at some parts and then raise it high at others. EPIC.
Score: 9/10
Gameplay:
For its time, I would have to say that the gameplay is pretty damn good. It was one of the first to utilize the whole... Over the shoulder stuff view they got going on, plenty of button mashing. All that good stuff.
Score: 7/10
Total Score: 33*2+20 bonus points ( For awesome extras) = 86!
86! Passing grade!
